JumpWave Media Group Inc. (“JumpWave”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is a corporation duly incorporated under the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. We are committed to respecting and protecting the privacy of every individual who interacts with our website at jumpwavegroup.com (the “Site”) and our services (the “Services”). This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) describes how we collect, use, disclose, store, and safeguard personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), and applicable provincial privacy legislation.

JumpWave does not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We may disclose personal information to (i) trusted third-party service providers acting on our behalf (such as hosting, payment processing, email delivery, and analytics providers), pursuant to written agreements requiring confidentiality and appropriate safeguards; (ii) professional advisors (legal, accounting); (iii) governmental, regulatory, or law-enforcement authorities, where required or permitted by law; and (iv) successors in interest in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets.
5. Cross-Border Transfers
Personal information may be processed and stored on servers located outside of Canada, including in the United States and the European Union. By using the Site or Services, you acknowledge that such information may be subject to the laws of foreign jurisdictions, including lawful access by governmental authorities in those jurisdictions. We require all third-party processors to provide a comparable level of protection to that required under PIPEDA.
6. Cookies & Similar Technologies
The Site uses cookies, pixels, and similar tracking technologies to operate, secure, and improve the Site and to measure aggregate usage. You may configure your browser to refuse cookies; however, some features of the Site may not function properly as a result.
7. Data Retention
Personal information is retained only for as long as is reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, to comply with our legal, accounting, and reporting obligations, or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. No method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to (i) access the personal information we hold about you, (ii) request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information, (iii) withdraw consent to our continued collection, use, or disclosure of your personal information, subject to legal or contractual restrictions, and (iv) lodge a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. Requests should be directed to the contact provided in Section 12.
10. Children’s Privacy
The Site and Services are not directed to individuals under the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we may delete it.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this Policy indicates when it was most recently revised. Material changes will be communicated by posting the revised Policy on the Site. Your continued use of the Site or Services constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
